The StFXAUT Executive is meeting tonight to review the new offer tabled by university administrators today and will make their recommendation known to union members in the morning.
Association president Peter McInnis is disappointed with the bad faith bargaining tactics demonstrated by X administrators. “Leaking details of their offer to Association members and to the press without our authorization and before the Executive has had a chance to fully examine it is another attempt by the administration to bypass the Executive and our negotiating team. This will only complicate our efforts to reach a full and equitable agreement for our members. It also contravenes principles of good labour practice,” McInnis said.
